IRIS is a more environmentally friendly reactive dyeing process: a sustainable solution for dyeing cellulose fibres and their mixtures.
Efficiency and ecology
The colorants used in the iris dyeing process are guaranteed by REACH (regulations for improving protection for humans and the environment in relation to chemical substances) certification.
The reactive colorants used (Avitera® SE) are also free of arylamines. European health standards specify that textile colorants cannot use amine concentrations above 30 ppm. In the case of iris, this percentage is 0.
